a series of ceramic vessels,
wheel-thrown in fine stoneware clay
with basalt spot inclusions.
surfaces are coated in white feldspathic
and black copper oxide glazes,
oxidation fired at high temperature.
each carries subtle variations in tone and texture,
quiet shifts born from glaze flow and firing.
these vessels move beyond utility,
standing as meditative presences,
objects to be contemplated
and cared for, each one singular
in its weight and stillness.
