a monade is a single and indivisible unit,
here reimagined as a square wall-bound sculpture
where the circle becomes the central axis.
each piece is assembled from diverse elements,
ceramic forms, turned wood, polished steel
and brought into dialogue within a precise frame.
the geometry reduces itself to square and round,
yet the meeting of textures and materials
turns these compositions
into something more than formal exercise.
matte ceramic surfaces sit against raw wood grain,
cold steel reflects light into shadowed plaster.
these works hold a meditative quality,
static yet inwardly charged,
each one standing as bothsculpture and object,
presence and device.
